Murder fear in arranged marriage - Guardian
"Police have launched a hunt for the body of a teenage Asian girl more than two months after she went missing following a failed attempt at an arranged marriage. They fear she may have been murdered. Shafilea Ahmed, 17, from Warrington, Cheshire, was introduced to a potential suitor when she visited Pakistan in February for a family wedding. But she turned him down. She suffered serious injuries while she was there after she swallowed bleach or toilet cleaner in mysterious circumstances."
